Estate Planning is the process used to enable an individual to communicate his or her desire as to whom assets are to be distributed, as well as how that will happen and when. The most basic Estate Planning tool is a properly constructed will.

Estate Administration refers to the formal process during which the estate representative brings a person's financial affairs to a close in accordance with the terms of their Will. It is important when making your Will to consider whom your administrator will be.

Trusts refer to a formal, legal agreement by which property is transferred in trust to a trustee. The trustee manages the property in accordance with the formal agreement established previously.

Managed Accounts refer to the appointment of a professional agent to manage all or part of your account. Legal ownership is not transferred and involvement can be as great or small as you like.
