Shraddha Arya is a popular model of Delhi . She became the runner up of the popular competition named "Zee Cinestar ki Khoj". She didnot want to sign any small film because she wanted to be a part of a big film rather then acting in a big role in a small film. Atlast she got her break in Ram Gopal Verma's film "Nishabd" where she played the part of Amitabh Bachchan's screen daughter. She had been seen in several ad films prior to Nishabd and also a few Music Videos. She said the entire shoot was just like a acting workshop for her and it has been great working with actor like Amitabh Bachchan and Revathy in her first film.And she considers both of them as her idols in acting.
