The main thing missing from this widget is the previous search function. It's the main reason I am tempted to go back to IE7 even though it takes too long to load up/shut down. The search suggestions function is also much wanted. Gladly the instant search catagory function where you can search the main engine with the same words, then re search with a sub engine such as froogle is still here. It is very usefull to know what I have previously searched for though.
While having the Google Toolbar for Opera is nice it does need some minor work.
1): It should be like the other toolbars, where the user can put it on the browser where they want it to, not on top of or under other pages, but those features can be kept for those that want it like that.
2): We also need a way to customize it as to what Buttons & Placement of Buttons we want, as well as being able to Size the Google Toolbar Widget

One of the things I miss on Opera that I had on Mozilla, is Google toolbar.
But I miss google bookmarks button (you know, that blue star?) I kept there bookmarks to webpages I used the most. My browser bookmarks are just crowded)
So, are you planning on making a button for it too?
And if I may ask, does this Gmail button's envelope 'opens' when there's a new mail?
Also, any hope for google wiki, you tube, wiki and spell check? Can I suggest some more? Maybe not for google toolbar, but if you are planning making some other widgets: Del.icio.us Thanks! I give it 5 stars and putting in my favs!
I surely would like to have it dockable, too! I tried it, and liked it, but it "blocked the view" so to speak. By "dockable" in my case I mean the Opera browser would "know it's there" and give it room, not scrolling up screen content behind it!
(Do you already have a Bookmarks thingie on there whose content can be ported from one computer to another ... via one's gmail userid? If not, I surely would love to see that, too!)
I second polyphem355's request for site-search and gozu's for docking. I tried to make a custom site-search button, but (unless it takes JavaScript code) I can't access the current URL.
Google Toolbar is one of my favorite toolbars and I use it alot with firefox and ie. the one thing that I love the most is auto fill, picaso could you please help add those to the toolbar widget since iam unable to download the real thing in opera?
How can I add a button into my Google Toolbar. I would like to add the Dictionary and references, and the auto fill page button. thank you it works great in internet explorer but i perfer using Opera.

thank you for this useful gadget.
For those of us missing Bookmarks - Google didn't release API for it yet. You can vote to make it Google's priority. Simply visit following two pages and 'star' those requests:
