ATM Audio Release Postponed :(
Vijay fans were in for a disappointment on Monday when they flocked the audio shops expecting to get the CDs of Azhagiya Thamizh Magan. According to industry sources, the audio is expected to hit the stalls on the 22nd of October. It is likely to be released in Malaysia on the 19th. We hear that the delay is due to heavy plans involved in organizing an audio launch function.
Azhagiya Tamil Magan
Initially the team had planned to release the audio sans any function but felt it was needed, considering the expectations the movie has generated. And with Diwali fast approaching, they intend to somehow release the audio well in advance so as to keep the curiosity alive.
This Vijay-A R Rahman combo is one of the much-awaited audio releases in the recent times. The fans are curious to see the dancing sensation shake his legs to the tunes of the Mozart of Madras. Sivaji has set the stage for the comeback of A R Rahman amongst Tamil audiences and ATM has raised the expectations even higher.

Hurray :) :) (Here comes the Sultan) ATM Audio From Oct15th
Vijay fans now have a reason to rejoice as their Ilaya Thalapathy’s much-awaited Azhagiya Tamizh Magan is going to hit the screens on Diwali. The film happens to have generated enough curiosity as it marks the coming together of A R Rahman and Vijay.
ATM on the other hand has been announced with much fanfare as Vijay pairs up with Shriya for the first time. And this is her first release after Sivaji, which has gone as per schedule. The final cut is being readied and theatres have also been blocked. The movie’s brisk pace is evident from the audio release date, which was announced recently. Rahman who has scored all the tunes and the audio is to hit the stores on 15th October. They have got their timing right! With just three weeks ahead of its release in theatres, it is just about enough time for Rahman’s tunes to grow on its listeners. The movie has five songs and sources say Vijay has crooned a number for this movie; the release of the CD’s should put an end to all this guessing!

ATM Should Not Resemble Nicholas Cage's "Next"
I hope and pray that our Illayathalapathy's ATM should not be based on Nicholas Cage's "Next". Next is a very slow film and i don't think that our staunch followers of IllayaThalapathy Would love that kind of movie. SO ATM will not be like that. It is my guess and hope it would be correct. Coz our thalapathy is on the path to Superstar status and moreover he has attained that pinnacle , so he would be very very cautious enough in choosing the roles.
My bet is that, it would be fun filled film with some twists and thrills embedded everywhere. We all loved watching Ghilli and espcially the comedy scenes, the same person is weilding the megaphone in ATM , so no need to worry about those punch dialogues and down to earth comedy.
Eagerly waiting for ATM.

IllayThalapathy Vijay's ATM publicity starts!
A huge hoarding of Vijay’s Azhagiya Tamil Mahan has appeared, on Mount Road (opposite old Safire theatre, now lying demolished). And posters have also been printed in various designs.
‘Swargachitra’ Appachan the producer of the film is waiting for A.R Rahman, who is now abroad to come back to Chennai for the audio launch of the film. Appachan wants to make it a major event, that will kick start his publicity for the Diwali biggie.
All top theatres in Tamilnadu are giving preferential treatment to ATM, as they feel that there is no real opposition to it. The Ilayathalapathy mass entertainer is expected to take a bumper opening worldwide, especially after the stupendous success of the star’s Pokkiri last Pongal.

Ajith To Wait For the "King"
|
Pyramid Sai Mira had purchased the distribution rights of ATM and plans are underway to produce a huge number of prints. The Move is seen to cater to its large number of theatres, especially outside Chennai.
As Behindwoods had already pointed out, the production company was keen on Ajith's Billa too. Now the official new is out that they have indeed completed the deal for an undisclosed amount. The Billa team was earlier quoted to have put a price tag of 15 crores for the theatrical rights alone. The satellite and audio rights are still yet to be decided.
With most of the theatres almost decided for ATM, it might be a bit difficult to accommodate Billa, more so in B and C centers.
Talks are already underway to postpone the release of Billa 2007 to December. An official release is still awaited. According to trade analysts, this might actually work for both the parties. Vishnuvardhan will also get some extra time to polish off his final product. Behindwoods, as usual, will be the first to update you on the happenings!

Namitha Speaks about Vijay
“One thing I’ll say about all my heroes is that- I love and respect them unconditionally”. The hot and happening actress Namitha opens her heart out to Moviebuzz in a garrulous mood sitting at her favourite corner table in Match Point at Taj Coromandel, Chennai.
Vijay - Very quiet, silent observer and patient. But when the camera starts rolling, he is a dynamo. I’ve heard from others earlier that he is an introvert but I differ to agree with that. In Azhagiya Tamizh Magan, we shot a song together at Phukhet Islands and it is for the first time that he takes off his shirt in a film in his career so far. He can be stylish without taking any effort and there is a scene in which he wears a white jacket and hat. He looks HOT! He has no airs of a superstar and is so down-to-earth and humble with everyone.
