Managing Modules

Editing Preferences Opening and Closing a Module Moving a Module Removing a Module

Editing Module Preferences

Modules display the content you want to see. In many modules you need to specify your preferences. For example, you need to specify a location for the weather module and the teams to follow for the sports module. Modules work for you; you just need to let them know what to do.

Here’s How

  1. Click the Edit button () in the module’s title area.

The module expands to show you several tabs, which vary depending on the module you’re editing. Most modules include the Preferences tab (as shown in the example below). This is where you specify what the module displays. A few modules have additional tabs, such as the Alerts tab in the some news modules where you can request notifications via email or instant message.

  2. Set your options in the Preferences tab (and other tabs if necessary), then click the Save button.
