From time to time, you may find an orkut community with an inactive owner. We will not transfer any community from its owner, grant moderator privileges to a member, or delete a community due to inactivity.

If you're unhappy with the content in a community, or the community owner's level of involvement, we suggest that you contact the owner and ask them to transfer ownership to another member or add moderators. If the owner does not respond, you may need to set up a new community.

Notes:

When a community owner deletes their profile, their name will disappear from the owner field. If they didn't transfer ownership of their community before leaving orkut, it's possible to become the moderator of this ownerless community.
